Parley CC Community Group Guidelines

Welcome to the Parley Cricket Club Community Group. This space is for club‑wide updates, fixtures, results, news, and positive discussion across all sections.

Please keep in mind:

• Be respectful, supportive, and cricket‑focused.
• No offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content.
• No personal criticism of players, officials, or volunteers.
• Keep messaging sensible - avoid spam or unrelated advertising.

Safeguarding

• No person under 16 years of age may join this group.
• Some juniors are present in this group with parental permission.
• Please keep all content appropriate for all ages.
• Adults must not privately message juniors.
• Parents/guardians are included to supervise junior participation.

Admins

• Admins may remove posts or members that breach these guidelines.
• This group is for communication and community – let’s keep it positive.

Parental Permission for Minors

Parley Cricket Club has created a WhatsApp Community Group to improve communication across the club. The group includes adult members, so in line with safeguarding best practice, we require parental/guardian permission before adding any junior member. If you consent to your child joining the group, you will also be added to ensure appropriate supervision.
